Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use constitute a binding agreement between you and High Risk Supervision Institute (HRSI). By accessing this website, creating an account, purchasing training, enrolling in a course, using the certification lookup system, or otherwise interacting with HRSI services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the website, register for training, access course content, rely on certification records, or use any HRSI service.
Important: HRSI provides specialized professional training and credential verification services for public safety and supervision professionals. Use of this platform requires honesty, proper authority, and respect for system integrity.
Eligibility and Authorized Use
HRSI training, certification, account access, and related services are intended for sworn law enforcement, probation, parole, corrections, supervision professionals, agency personnel, and other authorized public safety or approved professional users.
You agree to provide accurate information when registering, purchasing, enrolling, or communicating with HRSI. HRSI may deny, suspend, remove, or terminate access if information is false, incomplete, misleading, unauthorized, abusive, or inconsistent with the purpose of HRSI programs.
Account Security and User Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity conducted through your account. You must not share your login credentials, transfer course access, allow another person to complete training under your name, or permit unauthorized users to access restricted materials.
Any suspected unauthorized access, account compromise, impersonation, or credential misuse should be reported to HRSI immediately through the Contact Page.
Course Access and Training Materials
Course enrollment provides a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access HRSI training materials for the enrolled participant or approved agency user. Course materials are provided for professional training purposes only and remain the intellectual property of HRSI or its licensors.
You may not copy, republish, distribute, record, resell, upload, share, modify, reverse engineer, reproduce, or commercially exploit course content, slides, examinations, scripts, videos, graphics, documents, certification materials, or platform functionality without express written permission from HRSI.
Certification Standards
Certification is issued at the sole discretion of HRSI based on course completion, examination requirements, identity or eligibility review, payment status, and compliance with applicable program standards. HRSI reserves the right to deny, suspend, revoke, correct, or remove certification records where fraud, misconduct, error, unauthorized use, non-payment, misrepresentation, or violation of these Terms is identified.
HRSI certification reflects completion of a specific HRSI training and examination pathway. It does not guarantee employment, promotion, agency approval, legal authority, court qualification, expert witness acceptance, or any particular operational outcome.
Certification Lookup and Registry Use
The HRSI certification lookup system is provided as a credential verification tool for certificate holders, agencies, courts, supervisors, and appropriate public safety stakeholders. Registry information may be used to confirm certification status, expiration or renewal information, and related credential validity.
You may not scrape, harvest, bulk download, index, republish, resell, aggregate, manipulate, or misuse certification registry data. Automated access, data mining, credential spoofing, impersonation, or use of registry records for harassment, marketing, discrimination, or unrelated commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.
Purchases, Payment, Refunds, and Agency Orders
All purchases must be made with accurate billing and participant information. Course access may be delayed, suspended, or denied if payment fails, chargebacks occur, eligibility cannot be verified, or registration information is incomplete or inaccurate.
Refunds, disclosures, and agency purchase-order issues are governed by the HRSI Disclosure & Refund Policy. By purchasing or enrolling, you agree to that policy as part of these Terms.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to interfere with, damage, disable, overload, probe, scan, exploit, bypass, or attempt unauthorized access to HRSI systems, accounts, databases, payment workflows, course delivery systems, certification records, or website infrastructure.
You also agree not to submit malicious code, conduct automated abuse, impersonate another person, misrepresent agency affiliation, falsify credentials, manipulate course completion records, attempt to defeat security controls, or use HRSI services in any unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or unauthorized manner.
Security and Platform Integrity
HRSI treats platform security, participant data, certification records, and agency trust as mission-critical. HRSI may monitor, log, restrict, block, investigate, preserve, or disclose information when necessary to protect system integrity, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, enforce these Terms, or protect HRSI, participants, agencies, or the public.
Attempts to compromise the site, access restricted data, manipulate records, or interfere with WooCommerce, learning management, account, certification, or verification functionality may result in termination of access, revocation of certification, referral to the user’s agency, and any available civil or criminal remedies.
Professional Reliance and No Legal Advice
HRSI training and materials are provided for professional education and public safety training. They are not legal advice, do not replace agency policy, and do not supersede federal, state, local, court, departmental, or supervisory requirements.
Agencies and individual users remain responsible for applying training consistent with applicable law, policy, supervision standards, operational conditions, and professional judgment.
Disclaimers
HRSI services, course content, website materials, and certification verification tools are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. HRSI does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, specific outcomes, employment decisions, court acceptance, agency determinations, or third-party interpretations of certification status.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HRSI, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, exemplary, or similar damages arising from use of the website, course materials, certification records, payment systems, account systems, or reliance on HRSI services.
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with HRSI services is to stop using the services, subject to any applicable refund policy or written agreement.
